I don’t know how to avoid it. I’m barely 2dp5dt. I can’t even test at home until Friday/Saturday. Gahhhh.
My last cycle for reference. First faint line at 5dp5dt…

Oh luv, it’s awful isn’t it? But just try and distract yourself with something else as much as you can. Testing early won’t affect whether it works or not but might be torturing you more. Stay strong!! xx

It really is. I told my husband last night “THIS HAS TO WORK.” But it might not. I hate that. I will definitely not be testing until this weekend but I am definitely going nuts! Thank you ❤

I felt like that too – like there can’t be an alternative. It’s ok. You’re going to be ok no matter what, just remember that.
Last transfer my husband went on a business trip the day after my transfer so I was going crazy all alone. That was fun. Read my posts from early November last year for some insight on my levels of crazy. Hahahaha!

LOL! I just may ❤ the mental torture we go through in addition to the physical!

The mental stuff is exhausting!! Do you have any small plans this week to keep you distracted?

I am second shooting a wedding on Saturday and Sunday is mother’s day so I want to bring my mom a present 🙂 I hang out with my Pepe a lot of weekends too so I’m sure I can keep myself busy! lol

That’s a very good schedule you have organised. Surround yourself with love and distraction!

By the way, I don’t believe in bed rest (though of course I’m no expert). Just go about your usual stuff and don’t do crazy activities. Like you would if you were recovering from flu.

I don’t either, honestly. I did skip that concert on Monday because it was a metal show and I wouldn’t be able to help myself from dancing and thrashing around, but as a wedding photographer the show must always go on! Wedding photography is quite physical stuff, too! I stopped spin class and hot yoga, and I’ll be walking my dog or on the treadmill now for exercise. 🙂

Spin class might be ok later on but defo no hot yoga!!! Walking is great. Just rein in the exercise until you have your blood test. Worst case scenario and you just pick up where you left off. Best case scenario you should modify your exercise anyway. You’re doing so great!! Really you are!

I’m scared to “rock the boat” so I’ll def be waiting on spin class for a while! I’m going to look for a prenatal yoga class that is safe ❤ Thank you!!!

I’ve continued to go to regular yoga throughout although it’s getting hard now. HOWEVER, I told my yoga teacher the second I knew I was preggo and he adapted everything I did. This means no twists, no inversions and a few other weird things. So that’s something to think about too once you get to testing stage. I did no yoga until I knew.

LOL Yes. I said “I won’t test at home” every time but this time when asked if I was going to wait until next Thursday I said “HELL NO!” 😛
